NUC D54250WYKH - is it Dual-mode DisplayPort (DisplayPort++)?

Hi,

I am looking into the best way to use a D54250WYKH as HTPC.

Currently I am thinking of using the HDMI port to connect it to my TV set, and using the DisplayPort to connect it to my AV receiver for audio only.

For the receiver connection I want to use a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter.

My question is: does the D54250WYKH DisplayPort connection support dual-mode (or DisplayPort++) so that I can use a simple passive adapter to connect it to my receiver, like the StarTech MDP2HDMI?

If not, than what would be a working adapter solution?
