Can I connect from the mini display port to the SL DVI port on my Acer 22 inch Monitor ( Model AL2216W)? Cables and adapters available are listed as both Active and Passive. Will a Passive Adapter work? Example: Cable Matters Gold Plated Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter (Thunderbolt Compatible). I'm replacing and old XP desktop. Don't want to buy a new monitor or connect to a TV. I want to save the mini HDMI for future use.
I haven't purchased the NUC yet, I have all components selected but the cable/adapter and would like to resolve this question before pulling the trigger.
