BitLocker problem / Windows 7 on D54250WYK

I have been banging my head against the wall all day on this one, and are hoping the group can help.

We have a new Intel NUC D54250WYK with Crucial SSD and 8GB memory.

We are running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit under the UEFI boot option and are trying to set up BitLocker encryption at our hospital.

I am unable to turn on BitLocker successfully  and I've enabled PTT on the BIOS screen. BitLocker complains there is no TPM.

Is it possible to have a Windows 7 64-bit install and enable BitLocker encryption on this unit?
