Hi Intel crew,
I have a couple of questions relating to dual channel memory that I’m hoping you can help me with…
- In modern-day Intel parlance, (and as applied to NUC’s), does the term Dual Channel Memory imply that, in addition to a double-width data path, an ‘Interleaved mode’ will also be applied? -provided of course the SPD info from the memory devices indicates that they are sufficiently closely matched for interleaving to occur.
- If the reply to the above is yes, then is it enough for the two memory devices to be simply from the same manufacturing batch -or do the devices have to have factory-matched parameters in order for Interleaved Mode to operate?
Thanks in advance for any replies
Cheers
