DC53427HYE & Triple Monitoring: "Unable to save display settings" when selecting full resolution

Hi,

I just got a NUC DC53427HYE with 16GB of RAM, installed Windows 7 64bit and all the latest drivers, but I ran into a problem when setting up my triple display configuration.

My display setup: Two Dell 24" 2408WFP (1920x1200 resolution each, one connected via Displayport, one connected via HDMI) and one Dell 27" U2711 (2560x1440, connected via Displayport).

When I try to set the full resolutions in Windows display settings, it just gives me the following error message when I click on apply/ok: "Unable to save display settings".

When I try to set everything up via the Intel Graphics Settings, I can't select the full resolution of the 27" Dell - only 1920x1200 is listed as the maximum resolution available.

According to http://downloadmirror.intel.com/22738/eng/D53427RKE_TechProdSpec02.pdf on Page 24 at the bottom it says, that this should work (albeit with 1080p resolution on the HDMI and not 1920x1200).

When I try to set up the Displayport-connected 24" with 1920x1200 resolution, the Displayport-connected 27" with 2560x1440 resolution and the HDMI-connected 24" with 1920x1080 resolution, I just get the same "Unable to save display settings" error message from Windows. With the Intel Graphics Settings the 2560x1440 resolution option is missing from the display settings of my 27" Dell.

(The highest display resolution I am able to set with all three monitors activated is 1920x1200 on each of the three monitors. When I disable one of the 24" Dell screens, I am able to set the full 2560x1440 resolution on the 27" and 1920x1200 on the 24".)

So why can't I reproduce the setup that is mentioned in the Technical Product Specification of the DC53427HYE? Is there a workaround to convince the Intel Graphics Driver to accept or even list the higher resolutions?

The main reason why I bought this NUC was the promised capability of driving my triple display setup - which apparently doesn't work

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
