A disk read error occurred - D54250WYK

Hi,

I put together an D54250WYK with an Intel SSD 520 120GB, running Windows 8.1. It's around a month old.

Ever so often on reboot, it will fail on startup with the text-mode error "A disk read error has occurred - press ctrl-alt-del to restart". I have to remove the power and wait 5 minutes and it will boot fine - if I try straight away it will continue to fail.

I've run the Intel SSD Toolbox and done a full scan with no errors reported. The firmware on the drive is the latest (400i) and the system too (wylpt10h.86a.0030)

There are a few errors in windows event log the same as the following, but not very many:

The IO operation at logical block address 0x30fa593 for Disk 0 (PDO name: \Device\0000002d) was retried.

Any thoughts on how I can resolve this? Any theories on if it is the drive or the system or something else?
