Intel NUC DN2820FYKH with Ubuntu 14.10 server doesn't function without a HDMI monitor and usb keyboard attached. The application I am using it for does not require a monitor and keyboard since it will be sharing files on the LAN. A monitor will use unnecessarily energy and will take up space where it is not needed. How can I disable the need for a monitor and keyboard since if these peripherals are not connected to the Intel NUC, I am unable to ping or SSH into the Ubuntu server. Otherwise, does anyone know of a set of commands that can be used to tell the Ubuntu server to function without a monitor and keyboard?
