greetings, I just set up a new NUC5i5RYK. I boot the live CD (off a USB stick) for Ubuntu 14.10 and it comes up fine, except the video does not refresh inside new windows I open up. if I right click on the background the menu is either color noise or just blank. if I open up system settings there are no icons until I roll over them. if I try and install, the options to pick languange and whatnot just don't display. the window us just blank grey inside.
this is true whether I connect via Display Port or HDMI.
this is true with Linux Mint 17.1 (Rebecca) as well.
I assume that installing the Intel graphics drivers will fix the issue, but I can't get that far because even the terminal is unreadable.
any ideas how to get around this?
