By Wednesday this week I should have all of the components to set up my new NUC5i7RYH with 16GB RAM, 500GB M.2 SSD, and 2TB SATA HDD. Will be installing Win 8.1 Pro.
I hope to start out clean with a good first install on the system, so am seeking suggestions. I assume I should set up the Smart Response caching (HDD is 5400 rpm), and should update all drivers. Other than that, not sure. I haven't seen much in documentation or videos on the newer NUCs, and even the older ones focus mainly on basic hardware installation. Any hints from veterans, or suggestions on sources of documentation would be most appreciated.
