Internet-NUC-WiDi-TV Setup

Hello,

For a new setup at my office, I need to wirelessly mirror a desktop screen along with live internet audio and video, from a NUC to a WiDi compatible TV. Is this possible?

I know it is possible to mirror/extend display from NUC to a TV. But I had a few questions specific to my requirements. I would grateful if someone can help me with these.

Questions:

  1. If the NUC is connected to a TV through WiDi, I presume the NUC will lose the ability to connect to Wi-Fi Internet. Just like when a mobile is used as a hotspot. If true, can I still connect to the Internet through the ethernet?! This is important as I need to wirelessly mirror an application window with live internet audio and video, and not locally stored content.
  2. Can I stream both audio and video using WiDi?
  3. Is it possible to wirelessly connect one NUC to two TVs simultaneously using WiDi? Just like a dual monitor display. Two TVs playing the same audio and video coming from one NUC. Possible?!
  4. What is the maximum distance possible between the NUC and the TV?

Appreciate any help on the above. Thank you.
