Recently I bought a DC3217IYE for my robot project, a full-sized R2-D2 (Yes, really....actually the NUC is for my second one, a more technical version!)
To date I've been able to adapt the power sources to the requirements to run the NUC. I found several power converters that Car PC users utilize to take 12 volt power and convert to 19 volt.
The device runs very well but the location of the power switch on the NUC is a concern. Since the NUC will be enclosed inside the robot, accessing the power button is a big issue. Is there a way to rig a remote power switch ?
