Hi,
I bough few days back NUC5i5RYK and I'm having issues to pass-through some of the audio formats. Bellow you can find HW/SW setup I'm using for the devices.
NUC5i5RYK working as thin client to stream movies over LAN and fully setup for pass-through over HDMI to Onkyo receiver. I can stream video but at the moment but NUC5i5RYK can only pass through pass-through DD5.1 but cannot pass-through DTS/DTS-HD/TrueHD formats to my receiver.
I have previous generation NUC D3401WYK which have exactly same configuration (Win7/Zoom player/LAV) and it work perfectly on same chain of surrounding devices. When I start playing a movie with example DTS-HD format, the receiver recognize the audio format and switches to DTS-HD decoding, showing DTS-HD on front panel. Playing exact same movie with NUC5i5RYK, the receiver seems to get some information but the receiver stay mute, since it does not recognize the data send by NUC5i5RYK.
Device: NUC5i5RYK (RY0247.BIO) and D3401WYK (WY0038.BIO)
Memory: F3-1866C11D-8GRSL
OS: Win7
Player: Zoom player V9.3
Codec/filters: LAV filters pack V0.65
Receiver: Onkyo TX-NR727
Any help how I could tackle this problem and is there coming new drivers/BIOS updates to fix this issue?
