Been at it all day with no success.
Windows7 boots up fast if I have no external hard drive attached. If I reboot with the external HDD attached the boot I get ,"windows failed to start", and then "loading windows files" with the external HDD accessed constantly. I have been monkeying with the BIOS all day and cant seem to resolve the issue. Currently I have the UEFI boot unselected and legacy boot selected. The legacy boot order is: SDD, Optical,LAN. The windows boot still accesses the external HDD with "loading windows files"
I noticed that there is a forum question from 2014 on this issue that wasnt ever resolved. Can someone help?
