After updating to the most recent Bios (RYBDWi35.86A.0350.2015.0812.1722) I have encountered the issue of all the USB ports being active when the system is shut down.

After trying the instruction given in this post " NUC5I5RYH All 4 USB ports are always charging (even when powered off). Did I get a faulty unit?" I am now looking for further advice please.
