I bought the NUC5i5RYH as a companion for my SAMSUNG Ultra HD TV a couple of weeks ago. Since then I never managed to get any display resolution higher than 3840x2160@30Hz on the Mini DP connected to my TV. As for the specifications of the Mini DP 1.2 and the capabilities of my TV (UE55HU7200) I am supposed to get 3840x2160 at 60Hz, at least that's what I bought it for. I am using these Moshi adapters to connect to my TVs HDMI ports:
- http://www.moshi.com/mini-displayport-to-hdmi-cable#white
with the first in conjunction with a HDMI 2.0 compliant connection cable.
Once I replace the NUC by my MacBook Pro 15 Retina (Late 2013) I directly manage to display 4K@60Hz using the same adapter & cables, so it is not likely to be a matter of the connection or my TV. I installed both the latest BIOS and graphic card drivers on my NUC, still no success. Does anybody manage to get his NUC5i5RYH to display 4K@60Hz already and if so with what kind of adapter? And why am I not able to get that resolution with my NUC working?
