Is there any way I can switch the usb ports (any/all of them) from xhci to ehci drivers? My mceusb IR transmitter does not work with the usb3 ports or the internal usb2 port on the Haswell NUC, in ubuntu 13.10
I've tried the hardware on another Haswell desktop (asus h87i-plus board), where the BIOS has an option to disable xchi. The USB ports switches over to ehci and the IR transmitter works.. Unfortunately the NUC BIOS doesnt have this option.
Does anyone know if there's anyway to make this happen post boot?
