I own a NUC5PPYH, and I'm currently having some trouble during reboots.
Indeed, when I reboot my NUC, I randomly hear the fan running at full speed just after seeing "Intel NUC" logo, without any reason. Even when the OS is loaded, the fan remains at full speed. This does a lot of noise as you can imagine.
In general, followup reboots don't change anything. The solution I found to stop this is to shutdown the computer, and power it on. The fan runs at normal speed then.
I'm using the latest BIOS (43), Fan config is "Fixed values" at 18%. I'm using OpenELEC system. There is no high CPU usage before so no reason to run at full speed.
As I told before, it happens randomly after a reboot, so it's difficult to understand why.
Am I the only one ? Do you have some advices ?
