I have a NUC5i5RYH and I would like to know if the Intel 750 series SSD (400 GB) is compatible. I am using an m.2-to-PCIe adapter for the connection, but the drive does not appear on the bus either in Windows 8.1update or CentOS 7. I have checked the drive out on an ASRock Z97 Extreme6 MB, and it shows up just fine, so I know that the drive works. I have also had success with other SSDs (m.2 form factor) on this NUC, so it seems to be fully operational. With the drive connected to the NUC, the drive health LED (green) is lit, but there does not appear to be any activity on the I/O LED (amber), so training is likely not occurring. I have not been able to find any documentation that suggests that the combination of NUC + 750 series SSD will not work, but I have also not found anything that directly states that it will. So my basic question is: Is this combination supported, and if not, what would need to be done in order to make it work?
