my NUC is behaving somewhat strangely in regard to its cooling system.
After resume from Sleep in Windows 8.1 the fan is clearly audible. I'm not sure how fast its going, I haven't found anything that will monitor the speed in Windows. Right before it goes to sleep all is quiet. But upon resume, it is noisy. A reboot usually fixes it.
Also, in the Visual Bios, if I set custom low and high speeds for the fan, then save and reboot, the Bios no longer reports fan speeds or temperatures. I am on BIOS 0025. I am able to resolve that issue by loading defaults (F9) and rebooting.
Any ideas?
