I have recently purchased a D34010WYKH which I have installed with 4GB 1600MHz DDR3L 1.35V RAM, Crucial 120GB mSATA SSD, A Western Digital Scorpio Blue HDD and the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 adapter. I have installed Windows 7 Professional and everything is working fine except for the really poor wifi speeds I am experiencing.
I am on 60mb fibre optic broadband and I am only getting 3mbps speeds download speeds on Speedtest on my NUC yet I am getting approximately 20 -30mbps with other devices in exactly the same location ( I have tested this with a Samsung laptop, an Iphone 5s and an Ipad Mini ). Oddly, the upload speed on my NUC and other devices all appear to be very similar ( 3-4 mbps ). I have installed the latest drivers for the wireless adapter as well.
I can't change the channel to 5ghz as my laptop doesn't support this so just wondered if anyone had any ideas ? This is the first PC I have ever built and i'm not an expert at all on these matters so any help would be greatly appreciated.
