I'd like to leave my NUC on all of the time so that I can use Teamviewer from wherever I am to access my files and for other reasons. The NUC is behind a Linksys EA series router running the native Linksys software, so Wake on Lan is not an option even though the NUC is connected via an Ethernet cable. My concern is that my files are somewhat vulnerable and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestion as to how I might add a layer of security. I use Windows 7 Home Premium.
