Hi,
I am connecting a NUC5i5RYH to a single Dell U2715H monitor via a mini-DP to DP cable provided with the monitor.
I am running Windows 10 Pro, after a clean install.
The audio seems to be configured properly. The Dell monitor is visible and selected as the default playback device in the sound applet.
If I try to test the sound in the applet, it shows some signal visually, but nothing comes out on the monitor side.
Sounds is not coming out from the monitor, no matter what application I try to play it from. Windows believes it is playing the sounds, as the mixer will show the volume during the playback.
I have un-plugged and re-plugged each side of the mini-dp to dp connection.
I have uninstalled both the graphics drivers and the audio drivers, through the add/remove program option and also manually through the Device Manager
I have looked at
and followed the steps in the link provided, but it still does not work.
Any idea of what else to look for, I really don't want to have to use a separate set of speakers for that system.
Thanks,
-J
