Hi all,
I have bought the NUC5I7RYH & the NVME version of the Samsung SM951.
In the bios the SM951 is visible (as legacy device) but when I try to install Windows 7 the drive does not show up in the list of hdd's where I can install Windows 7 on.
There are no further drives installed.
I have tried to install this with a normal USB stick install and also via the in native EFI mode from USB but the drive simply does not show up in the windows install window.
Also I have tried the method below but also this did not do the trick
- In the root of your USB drive, there is the \efi\microsoft\boot directory. Copy this directory one level up so the files also reside under \efi\boot.
- Copy the bootmgfw.efi file to \efi\boot, and rename it to bootx64.efi.
Does anybody know how I can get Windows 7 installed?
