Hi
We're having relatable problems with connections to the Yellow/Power USB3, that are not true for the "normal" USB3.
Is it possible to set the "yellow" to work like a "normal" USB3 port through the Blue port
The answer is not simply "use the blue port" for our application.
Thanks

My Nuc5i5RYH has a visible distorted line 1/3 of the way down the screen and becomes more dramatic during fast action scenes. Any suggestions please?
Hi,
Which RAM modules have you people used in your NUC7CJYH?
Intel's recommendations typically do not list many models of RAM that are available widely, for example on Amazon or Newegg.
Kingston HyperX HX421S13IBK2/8 works fine, but is 2133MHz module.
Kingston HyperX HX424S14IBK2/8 works only when one module is installed. Two modules does not work even if they're a kit and work fine in other computers.
Hello, we have two of these NUCs. We placed board from the first one to Akasa passive case A-NUC39-M1B (Plato X7D). This case comes with COM port cable (see attachment). COM is enabled in BIOS (bios v40) and visible as COM1 in Windows 10 1703. But no communication goes through. We checked that Akasa cable with tester (acoustic pin tester) and cable is OK. We then tried second board and still no luck - it's the same. Intel, can you check it is working on your test units, please? It seems unlikely to me that we got bad luck wit two boards.
In reference to https://communities.intel.com/message/472873#472873, i do face similar issues described in the thread , in addition to it, the displays flicker while in operation. i have 3 displays in daisy chain connection, the primary display interface with the NUC via converter USB-C to DP. And i am using Collage mode in graphics, and each time i lose display, the NUC forgets the collage mode and changes to clone mode and i have to change it each time. The converter i use is not of the type validated by Intel, could that be an issues ? When i remove the connector and plug it back, the display get detected or wake up from power off mode. Even though the sleep mode and turn off display setting in windows has been changed to Never, still the display go to power off . Kindly suggest some solution to overcome these issues.
Hi,
According to nucblog.net's review (link) NUC7CJYH (and likely NUC7PJYH) don't appear to work with Kingston HyperX HX424S14IB/4 (2400 MHz CL14-14-14) memory in dual channel mode. Apparently, the system simply won't boot with both sticks installed. This memory has specifications and an arrangement that "should" be supported by this NUC. It should also be mentioned that the slightly lower spec HyperX HX421S13IB/4 (2133 MHz CL13-13-13) works fine in dual channel mode.
This is some rather decent memory, which I have available and was planning to use on the NUC7PJYH, and it would of course be nice if you made it work with these NUC's. Is it possible to look into fixing this incompatibility in a future BIOS/UEFI release?
Dear Support
I want to ark Mini PC Intel NUC_Celeron J3455 BOXNUC6CAYS

Hi,
Back in May last year I posted about a handshake issue between my Intel NUC7i3BNH and Samsung UA65KS8000 TV. It seems I am one of many people that have experienced handshake issues between a NUC and a Samsung TV.
After repeated communications with Intel (which included friendly and promising replies) there was no fix and I ended up giving up. Do you have a fix yet? Are you trying to fix? Do you care?
NUC (great product) + Bad Handshake = Unhappy NUC + Intel Not Fixing Unhappy NUC = Unhappy Customer
Genuinely hoping you have a fix.

I recently purchased the NUC7i5BNH for use as my main HTPC.
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
8GB RAM
128GB M.2 SSD
A/V connected to Vizio E50-C1 via HDMI 1.4a
Similar (but not identical) to some other issues posted on this forum, I am experiencing intermittent audio drop-outs during video playback. The drop-out typically last no longer than 2 seconds, and occurs infrequently (no more than once per hour).
There is not affect to video playback, only audio.
I have experienced this while playing online video via Netflix (web browser and W10 app), YouTube, and HBO NOW.
I have experienced this while playing offline video via VLC and W10 Movies & TV app.
I have not experienced this while playing the same videos on an older laptop connected to the same Vizio E50-C1 via the same HDMI 1.4a cable.
I have temporarily worked around the problem by purchasing a USB-C-to-HDMI adapter, and connected the NUC7i5BNH to the same Vizio E50-C1 via the same HDMI 1.4a cable. This has remedied the audio drop-out issue by bypassing the NUC7i5BNH's HDMI port completely. I hope Intel issues a fix for the NUC7i5BNH's HDMI audio.
Hi,
I did an update from 358 to 369 with the RYBDWi35.86A.0369.EB.EXE on my NUC5i3RYH (Kit).
Biosupdate was running.
After this on screen only Intel NUC is to be seen.
This remains for about 30 seconds. Then the NUC switches off.
Two seconds later it starts again. And so on ...
I tried with RY0358.bio at a USB-stick to recover.
But no results.
Any idea how to reactivate NUC ?
Thanks !
I see two different answers on HDR support for the new Gemini Lake NUCs. One Intel rep says it will have support, another says it will not. Intel marketing materials say the NUCs support HDR.
So which is it? Is this support coming or will it not be supported?
Thanks for all the help!
I have almost all the drivers working for Windows Server 2016 - not able to get the windows Server correct Bluetooth driver, and the "PCI standard" - ISA bridge"... not sure where that driver is at? Pictures of config and driver bellow...Any help will certainly be appreciated.
All else seems to be working great!

Windows server 2016 virtualization w NGFW and UTM services from WatchGuard FireBoxV

Targeting container lab Azure/AWS integration for Cyber security and enterprise virtualization. NUC provides with the perfect portable LAB! Hope I can get all the drivers working correctly...So far so good...
Searching for new drivers shows msg "New version ... is necessary". Klick on "Installieren" but nothing happens. How to get this new Version?
We purchased an Intel NUC7i5BNK to connect to an 80" interactive touch display for use in the classroom. From the initial set up, we have had an issue where there have been multiple green pixels showing up on the display (more so on the lock screen after initial boot).I have tried different display drivers, with no luck.I tried connecting the NUC to a 1080p monitor but did not notice the pixel issue. I have tried a different computer connect to the 80" touchscreen, but it did not have the pixel issue. If I uninstall the Intel display driver and leave the NUC running the Microsoft generic driver, there are no green pixels. This leads me to the conclusion that it is likely a display driver issue.I have tried about 2 other drivers, with the same result:
OS: Windows 10 Education, 64bit version 1709
Display: 3840x2160@60Hz via HDMI
Any other suggestions?
Hi,
I have bought
together with one memory module
and
Assembled together, connected mouse, keyboard and monitor through HDMI.
Power switch turn yellow color. When switched on, it turns solid blue, no blinking.
Keyboard is not reacting, no led diodes on, nor blinking.
Mouse is not reacting, no red light from optical mouse.
Monitor stays black. No signal from HDMI, tried two monitors.
Tried also another 4GB memory module with the same specs. Nothing happened.
Then returned the NUC unit and ordered a new one. Problem remains even with the new one. I don't know if I had two defective units?
It should not be memory problem since then the power button shall be blinking, see Troubleshooting No Boot or No Power Issues on Intel® NUC Products
When trying clear CMOS, see Clearing CMOS on Intel® NUC nothing happen.
When holding power button for 3 seconds, see BIOS Recovery Update Instructions for Intel® NUC , nothing happen.
Still no monitor signal, no keyboard diodes, no optical mouse light.
But I can charge my mobile phone through the USB ports!
I am suspicious if the units was not tested on Windows system and fastboot option were enabled. Now without any OS I can not boot.
According to Can't Access BIOS Setup with F2 Key for Intel® NUC Kits and Intel®...
Fast Boot enabled
Fast Boot is a feature in BIOS that reduces computer boot time. If it's enabled, you cannot press F2 to enter BIOS Setup, since USB mice and keyboards are unavailable until after the operating system loads.
But I would like install Linux to that unit. I have read how to disable fast boot according to Using Fast Boot in Intel® Visual BIOS 2.x and Using Fast Boot in Intel® Visual BIOS 1.x But both assume that keyboard is reacting and that something appears on the monitor, which is not the case.
Thank you for any suggestions,
Vojtech.
Hi,
NUC settings
My Intel NUC7i5BNH have the following settings in BIOS
LG TV settings
On my LG TV I have SIMPLINK enabled with Auto Power Sync enabled.
Connection
My NUC and TV are connected by HDMI.
Problem
When I turn on my TV then my NUC powers off as suspected (unless I disable Auto Power Sync on LG TV). But when I turn on my TV then nothing happens to my NUC. How can I make my TV turn on my Intel NUC?

Hello,
we have Patriot Scorch M.2 128GB in PC Intel NUC7i3BNH. After we switch off the computer and unplug power cord then the bios does not find the Patriot M.2. We have to do some change in BIOS and then bios find the disk.
We tried two last BIOS but no change.
Do you have some ideas?
Regards
